Inland Christian Home is a nonprofit provider of health and retirement care services for Seniors. Inland Christian Home was incorporated in 1973 and admitted its first residents in 1978. The facility was started by a number of local Christian Reformed and Reformed Churches. Inland Christian Home's primary goal is to provide quality care, at a reasonable cost. The philosophy and atmosphere that was fostered by those who started Inland Christian Home remains a distinctive part of life at the facility. The Board of Directors is elected from the membership of local churches who were responsible for starting Inland Christian Home. The nonprofit status dictates that all excess income must be reinvested in the operation of the facility, and that donations give to Inland Christian Home are tax Deductible.
Currently Inland Christian Home has five facilities that provide different levels of care: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care & Day Care and a 24hr Skilled Nursing Facility. With five different facilities on the same grounds, Inland Christian Home offers residents the unique opportunity of obtaining different levels of care without moving off the grounds. This provides for a close-knit community and a great deal of security concerning their future care.
