The Skilled Nursing Facility provides 24 hour nursing care for our residents. This care is either on the Skilled or Custodial basis. Skilled care is usually paid for by Medicare and a Medicare Supplement or Managed Care. Skilled care typically consists of physical, occupational or speech therapy, intravenous therapy, or a feeding tube. When a resident no longer requires this kind of care, Medicare and Managed Care will no longer pay.
The majority of residents in a skilled nursing facility receive custodial care. A resident at this level of care usually needs assistance with activities of daily living, such as walking, transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Custodial care is paid for privately, by long term care insurance, or by Medi-Cal. Skilled Nursing Facility custodial care rates include room and board, housekeeping, linens and 24 hour nursing care.

Medicare, Medi-Cal, and a number of other insurances are accepted.
