    Coronavirus Update 7/27/2020

Posted July 27, 2020 in News

ICH continues to complete COVID-19 testing per the Department of Public Health (DPH) and Department of Social Services (DSS) recommendations. This past week all test results were negative!

All ICH employees that previously tested positive have recovered and have returned to work after meeting required return to work conditions! ICH residents that have tested positive also have recovered or are recovering.

If our next round of testing is also negative, ICH will consider allowing visitors. Visitation would be restricted and will include safety protocols such as scheduling, checking in, visitation areas, personal protective equipment, social distancing, and staff monitoring. These safety protocols may vary from one level of care to another.

ICH has allowed very limited admissions across the campus. Admission screening and post admission isolation protocols are in place. ICH will continue to monitor internal and external data and regulatory recommendations and requirements, as increased admissions are considered.

ICH’s census levels have dropped due to reduced admissions. This has had a significant financial impact. Fortunately, federal government grant and loan programs have mitigated this impact. These programs will most likely only help for a limited period of time. At some point ICH will need to return to normal operations or face substantial difficulties

We are grateful and praise God for largely sparing ICH residents, staff, and family from the extremely negative consequences of the pandemic. However, it is clear that we are a long way from overcoming the pandemic and its potential lasting effects. Please continue to pray for the safety of the residents and staff, and pray for God’s guidance for the Board of Directors and all those who must make decisions on a daily basis.

We will continue to communicate with residents and update our website,, with information for residents, families, and the general public.

Please contact Mary Wolff at 909-467-6152 and with any questions.
