    ICH Update 10/5/2020

Posted October 05, 2020 in News

Campus wide all COVID-19 test results for the last eight weeks have been negative!

We are continuing to complete testing across the campus per the applicable regulatory guidelines.

The Skilled Nursing (SNF), Assisted Living (AL) and the Haven are allowing restricted visitation. Each area is following their own safety protocols for visitation. These protocols include scheduling, checking in, specific visitation areas, personal protective equipment, social distancing, and staff monitoring. To schedule a visit or get information on specific protocols for each area contact Imelda Reyes 909-467-6177 for SNF, Lisa Armstrong 909-467- 6273 for AL, and Eve Javier 909-467-6192 for the Haven.

The Cottages and Apartments are open to visitors. Please observe the following guidelines for Cottage and Apartment visitation:

    • Visitors should take the most direct route to and from the unit being visited
    • Do not visit if you are sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
    • Wear a mask and social distance
    • Keep visits to a minimum
    • Keep the number of visitors to a minimum

Activities where appropriate safety protocols can be implemented have been restarted. We are looking for ways to continue to open additional activities.

ICH is completing admissions for all levels of care. Safety protocols for admissions are in place.

ICH is now completing and planning for many projects around the campus. Safety protocols for vendors are in place.

On approximately October 12, 2020 we will begin construction in the parking area directly east of the SNF. The project will add additional parking spaces in this area. This will be a fairly large project and will cause some inconveniences. Some things you should be aware of:

    • The project will take about 60 days to complete
    • The area will be completely fenced off, which means that there will be no foot or automobile traffic in or through the areas of the parking lot
    • We plan to keep the circular driveway and parking spaces around the rose garden and flag pole open as much as possible, there may be a few days in which this will be impossible
    • Visitors may need to use parking around the rear or west side of the SNF or other parking areas around the grounds
    • Additional information will be provided as the project progresses

Please remember that these policies are subject to change if ICH has additional positive tests or government regulations and guidelines change.

ICH will continue to communicate with residents and update our website, www.ichome.org, with information for residents, families, and the general public.

Please continue to pray for ICH, the residents, employees, families, and Board of Directors.

Please contact Mary Wolff at 909-467-6152 and maryw@ichome.org with any questions.

    Sincerely,

    David Stienstra

    Executive Director
